Our client is a Training institution on digital programs. They are seeking to hire a Financial Markets and Trading Trainer who will be responsible for conducting end-to-end Training, Mentorship, and Work Linkages for Financial Markets and Trading Module.


Responsibilities:

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Mobilisation and Training

    • Mastering the company’s Digital Content and Curriculum and planning lessons to Train Diverse Youth effectively.
    • Mobilizing through communities and other avenues to invite Youth to benefit from the free Trainings e.g. through pitches, activations, or exhibitions of the company’s Program.
    • Organizing and delivering quality Virtual Trainings and ensuring an 80% completion rate for registered Youth undertaking the Training.
    • Planning and Researching on Training scope accordingly and understanding the audience needs during Training.
    • Developing relatable examples and case study material for use to make training useful and exciting.
    • Assessing objectively, against pre-set criteria, the ability levels of the learners as appropriate.
    • Overseeing the learners in performing practical activities related to online work, advising and assisting where necessary, and ensuring that maximum learning benefit is gained from the practical experience.
    • Ensuring good attendance tracking and providing daily reports on each Training session by marking attendance as per reporting template.
    • Assess individual and group Training needs and provide recommendations.
    • Adapt delivery of course material to meet the needs of the learners
    • Conduct Training of Trainers (ToTs)

    Mentorship and Work Linkages

    • Conduct mentorship for each trained cohort as per the mentorship guidelines
    • Assess the level of skill acquisition of the mentees
    • Ensure active participation of all the mentees in the mentorship sessions
    • Submit weekly reports on the progress of each cohort being mentored.
    • Organize and coordinate job linkages webinars for the trainees
    • Link the trainees/mentees with work opportunities
    • Report on impact stories from the trainees

Requirements:

    Technical skills required

    • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in any relevant field.
    • 2+ years of working experience in Financial Markets using Forex, Stockbroking, Cryptocurrency, or other relevant Financial Instruments.
    • Charting skills: The candidate should be proficient in reading and interpreting charts to identify trends, patterns, support and resistance levels, and other technical indicators that can help predict future price movements.
    • Knowledge of technical indicators: Possess familiarity with a range of technical indicators such as Moving Averages, Relative Strength Index (RSI), Bollinger Bands, and MACD, among others.
    • Understanding of fundamental analysis: Ability to interpret economic data releases, news events, and central bank statements to determine how they may affect currency prices.
    • Risk management skills: Should be able to manage risk effectively by setting stop-loss orders, managing position sizes, and applying sound money management principles.
    • Trading platform skills: Candidate should be proficient in using trading platforms such as Meta Trader 4 or 5, which are popular in the Forex industry.
    • Basic Programming skills: The candidate should be able to utilize automated trading systems or algorithms to execute trades or possess the ability to develop and test trading algorithms.
    • Back-testing skills: Candidates should be able to back-test their trading strategies to determine their profitability.
    • Knowledge of order types: Candidates should be familiar with various types of orders such as market orders, limit orders, stop orders, and trailing stops to execute trades effectively. Top of Form
    • Understanding of financial instruments: Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of various financial instruments like stocks, bonds, derivatives, commodities, etc., and their characteristics.
    • Market analysis: The candidate should have the ability to analyze market trends, patterns, and news to identify trading opportunities.
    • Technical analysis: The candidate should be proficient in using technical analysis tools like charts, graphs, and other indicators to analyze the market.
    • Quantitative skills: The candidate should be proficient in mathematics, statistics, and programming languages like Python and R to develop and implement trading algorithms.
    • Financial modeling: The candidate should be able to create financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and perform scenario analysis.
    • Communication skills: The candidate should be able to communicate complex financial concepts and ideas to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders effectively.
    • Decision-making skills: The candidate should be able to make informed and timely decisions based on their analysis and interpretation of market data.
    • Understanding of Blockchain Technology: Have a thorough understanding of the underlying technology that powers cryptocurrencies, i.e., blockchain technology. This includes the ability to read and write smart contracts, analyze transaction data, and troubleshoot blockchain-related issues.
    • Knowledge of Cryptography: Should be familiar with different cryptographic algorithms, such as SHA-256, ECDSA, and AES, and how they are used to secure data in the blockchain.
    • Proficiency in Programming: Cryptocurrencies are built on complex codebases that require expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Solidity. The candidate should be able to read, write and debug code in these languages.
    • Experience in Distributed Systems: Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, which means they operate on a distributed network of computers. Candidate should be familiar with distributed systems and how they work, including concepts such as consensus algorithms, fault tolerance, and distributed databases.
    • Cybersecurity: The candidate should be familiar with the latest cybersecurity practices and be able to implement them to protect the cryptocurrency network.
    • Knowledge of Economics and Finance: The candidate should have a strong understanding of economics and finance, including concepts such as supply and demand, market trends, and investment strategies.
    • Understanding of Regulatory Frameworks: The candidate should be familiar with the legal and regulatory frameworks that apply to cryptocurrencies and be able to navigate them effectively.
    • Understand the utilization of financial markets, forex trading & cryptocurrency skills in online work and possess the ability to train youths on the avenues of selling financial markets, forex trading & cryptocurrency skills with a focus on earning a decent income from digital opportunities and platforms.
